History and Mission
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization started in 1976 to build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 200,000 houses worldwide, providing shelter for about 1,000,000 people. Now at work in 100 countries, HFHI builds a Habitat Home every 26 minutes.
Habitat for Humanity Hamilton County
Habitat for Humanity Hamilton County (HFHHC), Indiana is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. HFHHC was incorporated in May of 1990. Since that time we have built 47 new houses providing secure homes for over 175 family members, throughout the county. View our photo gallery

Habitat for Humanity Hamilton County (HFHHC) is a Christian, ecumenical organization committed to the elimination of substandard housing throughout the county by bringing a community of resources together with a community of need to build simple, decent, and affordable housing.
Habitat for Humanity Hamilton County's Vision
Our vision is to provide a nurturing atmosphere and affordable housing to low income families. We will promote a progressive, cooperative environment for those we serve, resulting in a positive partnership and experience. Our goal for 2007 is to build four new homes for waiting families. We plan to build 10 homes a year by the year 2010.
